Be Our Guest – Winner’s Review

When did you visit?
We went on Sunday 1st October for Sunday lunch.

Who did you go with?
I went with my son Valentino (18) and daughter Blythe (16).

Why did you choose The Ilkley Cow?
To be honest, I’m a single mum so we don’t tend to eat out very often and we don’t eat a lot of red meat because of the cost. But we all love a Sunday roast and to be able to visit the Ilkley Cow and enjoy some delicious steak was a real treat for us all. It was my son’s 18th the week before, so this visit was a birthday treat for him.

What were your first impressions?
The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They came to us at the door as soon as we arrived and showed us to our table.

What did you order?
We enjoyed a Sunday roast each with soft drinks. Steak with a huge Yorkshire pudding, carrots and parsnips and roast potatoes.

How was the service?
The staff were lovely, attentive and friendly and wanted to make sure we were happy.

How was the meal?
Absolutely delicious! The meat was to die for! The produce was pure quality and the presentation was fantastic. The kids were in absolute seventh heaven with it all!

What stood out for you?

The quality of the meat stood out for all of us. It was next level!

Would you consider it value for money?
Absolutely. We came to the Ilkley Cow because of the Be Our Guest offer but after eating our meal, we agreed that we would’ve happily paid for it ourselves because it was just worth it! It was a quality meal.

Would you recommend The Ilkley Cow to friends and family?
Yes! It was a great experience and a real treat for us all.
