Why did you choose to spend your £50 at Vitello?
I like it there – I go about half a dozen times a year. I come into Ilkley a lot, especially to eat out, as there are more options in Ilkley than Bramhope. Also my son, James, and his partner, Lucy, live here so we combine coming to town to eat and visiting them. I was really surprised to win the voucher so decided to treat ourselves at Vitello. Also, we usually bring our dog, and they’re very dog friendly there and provide treats and water bowls.
When did you go?
We had a table for 4 booked on 18th February at 7.30pm and I went with my husband and James and Lucy. We sat downstairs. It was quite quiet when we were there but the restaurant is very large. I know it gets busy during the day.
What do you think of the interior of the restaurant?
I really like the décor. It’s always very warm and welcoming and it’s got a very unique feel to it – very art deco.
What did you order to eat?
James, Lucy and my husband had beer to drink and I had a tonic water. Lucy and I had folded flatbread dishes and James and my husband had a burger each which were really tasty. Afterwards we had another round of drinks. There’s a huge selection of things on the menu to choose from and the quality is very good indeed.
How was the service?
The staff are always very friendly there, and not just because we had this voucher. Every time we’ve been there, they’ve been lovely and the service is always excellent.
Was it value for money?
Yes, on the whole, it’s very good value for money. We’ll definitely be going back.
