When did you go?
I went on Thursday 23rd July. I had to wait a couple of months before I could get an appointment as they were booked up. So it must be a very popular place. I was there for a good couple of hours.
What were your first impressions?
They’ve only just relocated to their current premises and it still looks very new from the outside. It’s a nice space inside, really fresh, modern and clean, and it felt very calming.
What treatments did you have?
I had a manicure and my eyebrows done by Millie. For the manicure, they offer different levels of nail art. I chose Level 1 and went for a pale pink design with purple swirls, as I was going to a wedding that weekend and wanted them to match what I was wearing.
I also had my eyebrows shaped. I was considering having an eyebrow tint, but I hadn’t had a patch test, so I went for shaping instead.
Were you happy with your treatments?
Yes, really happy. In fact, they’re the best nails I’ve had done in a very long time! Beforehand, Millie sat with me and we had a chat and she showed me lots of inspo pictures which was really good. And she kept turning my hands over and checking as she wanted to make sure everything was perfect. They looked great for the wedding and there were no issues at all.
It was the same with my eyebrows. Before she started, Millie chatted to me in front of the mirror to find out what my long-term goals were for them. I’ve always preferred the shape of one eyebrow over the other, but now they’re perfectly matched.
How was the service?
Really good. Millie was excellent and it was all very friendly – it felt like we were out with friends. And the owner was there as well looking after another client, and we were all just chatting together which was really nice.
Is it value for money?
Yes it is. I had to top the voucher up a bit, but it was definitely worth the money.
Would you go back?
Yes. And I’ve actually booked another appointment for another wedding.
