Friends of Ashlands Primary School have published a new walking trail which starts at Wells Road Carpark in Ilkley, exploring Ilkley Panorama Woods and the Moor. The walk is expected to take around 2-2.5 hours with some interesting facts and challenges along the route.

Be prepared for some steep hills and paths while you enjoy a couple of hours exploring the beautiful route which consists of footbridges and streams, challenges, wildlife and wonderful views.
The trail is a great activity for families and walkers and covers some interesting facts about Ilkley’s history and heritage. If you haven’t experienced the stunning Heber’s Ghyll yet then you will love the streams and footbridges as you head up to the famous Swastika Stone. When you reach the top the views are fabulous and the trail encourages you to stop and take a rest whilst enjoying the scenery over the Wharfe Valley.
