The date is set for Three Little Birds Bakery to open their doors in Ilkley. On Saturday 25th July 2026 the first customers will be welcomed in to take their pick from a selection of delicious treats – and the first 20 customers will receive a special goody bag.

“We’re all really excited! Seeing the new signage in place was a real “pinch me” moment. The public support we’ve received since announcing the opening of an Ilkley shop has been absolutely mind-blowing. Every ‘good luck’ and ‘wishing you all the best’ and ‘can’t wait to visit you in Ilkley’ has made so much difference to us.
“The Ilkley business community has also been so supportive so we can’t wait to be part of their network as well as our existing wonderful Keighley community. It’s because of this positivity and support from our wonderful customers that I’m definitely more excited than nervous!
“We’ve also just given Keighley a glow up with a fresh lick of paint, a new A-board, and we’re investing in some new equipment there as it will be the hub of our production. I think the fact that we’re in a position to be able to open a second shop at the moment is good news for small businesses and local high streets.
“Having a shop in Keighley has been more successful more quickly than I could have predicted, and it’s this that’s been the driver for opening another shop. It shows that people want to support independent shops.”
Three Little Birds opened their first shop on Cavendish Street in Keighley in 2023 and has sold cupcakes, slices, cookies and macarons to delighted customers ever since. The bakery also specialises in wedding and special occasion cakes, with delicately crafted bespoke designs available. The new shop in Ilkley will have a counter selling the same delicious treats, as well as a cosy space for wedding consultations. Occasion cakes will be available for collection there from September.
Saturday 25th July will be a big date in the calendar: the Bakery on The Grove in Ilkley will be open from 9.30am until 3.30pm. It will then be open with the same opening hours as in Keighley; Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm and Saturdays 9.30am to 3.30pm.
