Why did you choose to spend your £50 at La Casa?
My partner and I have walked past it a few times on the way to Ilkley Playhouse and we thought it looked really nice. We noticed it had changed its name from The Olive Branch to La Casa and we were curious about what it was like.
When did you go?
My partner and I went on June 21st 2025.
What was your first impression inside?
It’s really lovely. Immaculate and very nicely presented inside and outside. You could tell a lot of effort has gone into its appearance.
What did you order to eat?
We had the Seafood Platter to share for starters, and then I had the Grilled Seabass Fillet and my partner had the Mixed Grill. We had a Cosmopolitan and a Long Island Iced Tea to drink. The food was excellent, really tasty indeed. You can tell it was top quality and it was obviously all prepared and cooked fresh. The Seafood Platter was my favourite – it was really delicious.
How was the service?
Very good. We were greeted and seated immediately as soon as we got there, and the waiter was attentive; making sure we were OK throughout the meal and checking in on us.
Was it value for money?
Yes, we went over the £50 voucher, but it was definitely worth it.
Would you recommend it?
Absolutely, and we’ve planned to go back there and take our friends very soon.
