Why did you choose to spend your £50 at Fig & Willow?
I live in Ilkley so I know about the shop and have popped in occasionally. It’s an interesting shop, and it stocks a nice range of clothing which is different from what you may find in the chains, so I knew I wanted to spend my £50 there. It’s also good to support our local independent businesses. I went with my daughter as my shopping partner as she’s got really good taste.

What was your first impression inside?
It’s very warm and welcoming. Their clothing is very stylish – it’s something a bit different and the prices are reasonable as well. I know they stock a lot of sustainable items and different brands – their Scandi range is very popular.

It’s also got a lot of other interesting things like accessories, lovely cards, woolly socks etc. My daughter was particularly interested in their big candles which she thought would make a great Christmas or birthday present. It’s a real treasure trove of lovely things!

What did you buy?
I bought a really top quality chunky V-neck jumper. The label is Culture which I’d never heard of before – it’s one of their Scandinavian brands.

How was the service?
It was great, so friendly and welcoming. I ended up spending a bit extra for my jumper on top of the £50 but I wasn’t forced to buy anything. The lady there said I could’ve come back another day if there wasn’t anything I liked, or I could’ve spent part of the voucher. But I loved my jumper so bought it there and then.

Would you go back?
Yes, definitely!

Would you recommend to friends and family?
Yes absolutely. It’s a great place to shop for yourself or if you’re looking for gifts for someone.
