How easy was it to get to Beau Monde?
It’s very easy centrally located in Ilkley. I’ve walked past many times but didn’t realise there was a salon above the shop.
What was your first impression of the Shop?
The shop has a very inviting feel, with lovely products around to look at, and it smells amazing too. There are intriguing displays with gift sets galore. I purchased a light floral fragrance, Fresh Fragrance Eau de Vignes and I will be going back soon to treat myself to another from the same range.
How were you greeted when you arrived?
I was really nicely greeted and directed to go upstairs to the lovely waiting room with refreshments and magazines. I wasn’t kept long before my therapist greeted me and took me into the treatment room.
What was the treatment room like?
It had a relaxing ambience and a really nice feel.
What did you think about your treatment?
I had a pedicure, the therapist was really pleasant and chatty throughout, always checking how I felt and that the water temperature was right. The finished result was brilliant, the choice of colour finishes was great, and I wasn’t rushed to make a decision.
How did you feel after your treatment?
It felt relaxed. As a busy mum, it’s nice to take time out of my busy schedule and I was encouraged not to rush back but to have refreshments, which was a great break from the everyday routine. Even in the bathroom, there were samples to use and try.
Would you go back?
I would definitely return as the shop has a great range from every day to high-end products, and lovely gift sets.
Did you find the service value for money?
Absolutely, it’s not just the treatment and the purchase, but the overall feeling that makes it definitely worth the visit.
