Wearable Art – Needle Felting Workshop

Join Yorkshire artist Jessica Jenyns for a creative, hands-on workshop exploring how needle felting can transform pre-loved knitwear into unique wearable art.

You’ll learn how to create and needle-felt your own design onto a garment or knitted accessory, with easy-to-follow guidance and instructions for completing your project at home. No previous experience or prepared design is needed, as Jessica will bring plenty of inspiration to help you get started.

Please bring a pre-loved knitted item to work on, such as a jumper, cardigan, scarf or cushion cover. Natural fibres work particularly well, although man-made materials can also be used. Items with holes are welcome, as these can be repaired and incorporated into your design.

All other materials and equipment are provided, including carded sheep’s wool and reclaimed bamboo or flax fibres. If you’re unsure whether your chosen item is suitable, contact Jessica through the Duttons website before the workshop.
